How to Use
Here are some general guidelines on how to use DOWSIL™ 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant:
Surface preparation: Clean the surface to be sealed or bonded thoroughly, removing any dirt, dust, oil, or other contaminants. Ensure the surface is completely dry before applying the sealant.
Cut the nozzle: Cut the nozzle of the sealant tube to the desired size and puncture the inner seal. Install the cartridge into a standard caulking gun.
Apply the sealant: Apply the sealant to the prepared surface in a continuous and uniform manner. Tool the sealant with a wet finger or spatula to ensure a smooth, even finish.
Curing time: DOWSIL™ 732 Multi-Purpose Sealant cures quickly at room temperature upon exposure to moisture in the air. The cure time will depend on the temperature, humidity, and thickness of the sealant layer.
Clean up: Clean any excess sealant with a clean cloth before it cures. If the sealant has already cured, it can be removed mechanically or with a solvent.
Storage: Store the sealant in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Ensure that the sealant tube is sealed properly to prevent it from drying out.

DESCRIPTION
DOWSIL Silicone 780 Plumbers & Roofers' Sealant is high performance sealant designed for use in sealing sheet metal and aluminum roofing, flashing, guttering, wall cladding and rainwater accessories. It is a moisture curing one part neutral cure silicone rubber sealant.
USABLE LIFE AND STORAGE
When stored below 32°C (90°F) in the original unopened containers, this product has a usable life of 540 days from the date of production. As DOWSIL Silicone 780 Plumbers & Roofers' Sealant cures by reaction with moisture in air, keep the container tightly sealed when not in use. A plug of used material may form in the tip of a tube or cartridge during storage. This is easily removed and does not affect the remaining contents.
